If you are touring on the west side of the island of Kauai, stop by Salt Pond Park at Pu'olo Point (east) side of the park in Hanapepe and visit with 'Anake (Aunty) Janet Kahalekomo and her 'ohana (family) as they share their history and knowledge of salt cultivation on Kauai.
