Fern Grotto Inn

Our Kauai, Hawaii, vacation rentals are in four quaint plantation-style cottages, built in the 1940's and lovingly restored over the last 6 years. Each house is beautifully furnished and thoughtfully appointed for self-sufficiency and comfort. Small groups of up to 14 guests can also be accommodated for meetings, retreats and family gatherings. The large living room of Ohana House is a favorite group meeting spot.We are centrally located in the perfect spot. Just ten minutes north of the airport, the property is on the banks of the Wailua River, a few minutes from the heart of Kapaa town, walking distance to beaches as well as Lydgate family park. We are also a short drive to all of Kauai's beaches, hiking trails and historic sites. If bicycling is your thing, you don't need to rent a car. Public transportation to either end of the island is within walking distance & you can take your bike along with you on the bus.
